Emily Crile

Emily Crile is the Associate Conductor and Director of Education Programs of the Colorado Children’s Chorale where she directs Apprentice Choir and Transitions, a mixed-voice, alumni ensemble. With her passion foEmily Criler choral music education she manages the CCC’s education programs across the metro area, including coordination of the School Partnership and Community Choir program. She is an active guest clinician and conductor-in-residence for programs throughout the state, is the Secretary of the Colorado chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association, and serves on the Education Advisory Committee of the Scientific and Cultural Collaborative. Prior to joining the Chorale in 2000, Emily served as an Assistant Conductor with the Northern Iowa Children’s Choir. She holds a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Her teachers include Gregory Gentry, Andrea Ramsey, Bruce Chamberlain, and Duain Wolfe.
