Step 1: Go to a content area within a course (View Creating a Content Area in the Course Navigation Menu for further information)

Step 2: Click on the “Build Content” button and select “File”

Step 3: Click the “Browse My Computer” button

Step 4: Select the file and click on the “Open” button

Step 5: Give the file a name

Step 6: Click on the “Submit” button

 

Create a Bookmark for the Template in the Content Collection

Step 1: Click on the “Content Collection” tab on the top right area in Blackboard

Step 2: Click on “Bookmarks” from the left hand navigation menu

NOTE: If you do not see the “Bookmarks” section on the left hand navigation menu, select the “Shortcut View” button at the top right of the navigation menu, adjacent to the “Folder View” button.

Step 3: Click on the “Create Bookmark” button

Step 4: Give the bookmark a unique name

Step 5: Paste the XID given to you as the master template designer into the “Bookmark Location” text box

Step 6: Place a “/” (forward slash) in front of the XID

Step 7: Click on the “Submit” button

Step 3: Select the title of the Bookmark created
