Course Description

This in-depth physiology course covers the function of the human body as it relates to homeostasis. This course emphasizes membrane transport, fluid compartments, acid/base balance, cardiovascular and respiratory physiology and neurotransmission. BIO 2320 cannot be used as credits towards a biology major or minor if the student also takes BIO 3320. In other words, only on of these courses can count toward the 40 core credit hours, but both will count toward the degree.

prerequisites: BIO 1080 and BIO 1090, two additional semesters of biology, and one year of chemistry.
