\"\"<\/a>MB Krueger earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in music education and voice at Michigan State University (1990), where she was a National Merit Scholar.\u00a0 She received her masters degree in music education with an emphasis in choral conducting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio (1995).\u00a0 She began her career in Michigan as a high school and middle school choir director, and then went on to teach and direct choirs at Lansing Community College.\u00a0 Currently, MB is a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she directs the Chorale, University Treble Choir, and Auraria Choir and teaches all levels of undergraduate conducting.\u00a0 She has music directed over 50 shows, including Into the Woods<\/i>(Metro), La Cage aux Folles<\/i> (Riverwalk Theatre, Lansing, Michigan), Forever Plaid <\/i>(Boarshead Theatre, Lansing, Michigan), and Man of LaMancha <\/i>(Riverwalk and Metro).\u00a0 MB has served as the Newsletter Editor as well as Women’s Choir Repertoire and Standards Chair of the Colorado Chapter of American Choral Directors Association and regularly presents sessions at the annual CoACDA Summer Workshop.\u00a0 MB is also active as a clinician for middle school, high school, and college choral festivals, and has presented voice workshops for amateur singers in theatre and church programs.\u00a0 She is a member of Colorado\u2019s only fully professional chamber choir, St. Martin\u2019s Chamber Choir<\/a>, as well as St. Andrew\u2019s Episcopal Church<\/a> Choir.\u00a0 MB has also sung professionally with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, the Santa Fe Opera, Ars Nova Singers, Diverse Passions Early Music Ensemble, and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
