Here are some ideas!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">At MSU Denver:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\"><em>Come to a Math Club Talk<\/em>. These are typically the first Friday of each month at 2:30pm in SI 1011. Look for flyers in the Science building as the date approaches.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Join WiMaM, Women in Math at MSU Denver. See dr. diane davis for information.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Join the Student Chapter of SIAM, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Join the Actuarial Club.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Present a Poster at the Math and Statistics Student Poster Presentation. This will resume its spring tradition now that campus life is back to normal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Attend a math conference. Present a talk or a poster.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jointmathematicsmeetings.org\/jmm\">Joint Mathematics Meeting<\/a>. This is the largest math conference in the world! You might consider this conference if you are a senior math major and have taken several upper division math courses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.unl.edu\/~ncuwm\/\">Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Wisom (Women) in Mathematics<\/a>. This is a great conference to learn about graduate school and meet undergraduate math students from around the country!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\">Pikes Peak Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conference. This conference is typically the last Saturday in February. This is a great conference to give a talk or to see other undergraduate students present their math research!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sections.maa.org\/rockymt\/\">MAA Rocky Mountain Section<\/a> Meeting. Meet this Penn State Football Player, Mathematician, and Calc 3 Instructor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EKZQFgmYL1M&amp;feature=youtu.be\">(Video 1)<\/a>. He played for the Baltimore Ravens and is a PhD student at MIT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bjEs2xh0wtw\">(Video 2)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=G5FNHE_EcRA\">(Video 3)<\/a>.
