This course combines two sections for lecture (T\/Th 9:40-12:10 Science 1113), then half of the class meets for lab on Tuesday and the other half meets for lab on Thursday at 12:30. \u00a0Labs are in Science 2089. The laboratories are traditional laboratory sessions which allow the seeing, touching and feeling of body structures.<\/p>\n<p>BIO 2320-4 Human Anatomy and Physiology II (3+3)<\/p>\n<p><em>Prerequisite: BIO 2310 or permission of instructor<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is the second of two courses addressing the structure and function of the human body. All exams are online on Canvas.\u00a0 Exams open at 12 am on\u00a0<strong>Mondays<\/strong>\u00a0and close at 11:59 pm on\u00a0<strong>Saturdays on dates above at 11:59 pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 (Note:\u00a0 Due to July 4 being a holiday, Lecture Exam 2 is due on a Sunday, July 5)\u00a0\u00a0Lecture exams consist of multiple choice, ordering, matching, true\/false questions, and a few fill in the blank questions, \u00a0that are randomly selected from a pool of questions. Fill in the blank answers must be spelled correctly. A 10% deduction per day will be taken away from your exam scores for any exams taken and submitted after the due date. \u00a0No late submissions once the semester is over. No other make-up opportunities exist.\u00a0 Exams are not comprehensive.<\/p>\n<p>You will be given one chance to take each exam and a time limit of 50 minutes. \u00a0These are open-note, open-book exams, but you may not collaborate with your classmates on any exams.<\/p>\n<p>When you are ready to take the quiz, click on the quiz link, read the instructions, and then begin.\u00a0 After you have answered all of the questions, click \u201cSubmit Quiz\u201d at the bottom.\u00a0 You will see your score immediately and grades may always be found in the Grades tab on the left of the Canvas course homepage. \u00a0There is a practice test that you may try at any time to make sure your web browser is compatible with Canvas and to get familiar with the format. No points are awarded nor deducted for results on the practice test and you may take it repeatedly. I do double check the computer grading on all completed exams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LABORATORY EXAMS:\u00a0<\/strong>You must attend traditional on-campus laboratories each week.<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The labs will follow the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.msudenver.edu\/haysc\/biology-courses\/human-anatomy-and-physiology-ii-homepage-bio-2320\/lab-objectives-bio-2320-summer-2026\/\"><em><strong>laboratory objectives<\/strong><\/em>.<\/a> There are 2 online lab exams, each with 50 questions, and worth 100 points, 60 minutes.\u00a0 Questions are\u00a0<strong>only<\/strong> on the material from your laboratory objectives.
