Jeremy Venditti Professor and Director of Environmental Sciences, Simon Fraser University Uses field observation and experimentation, physical models in a laboratory, development of theoretical models and numerical simulation.  He has authored 51 refereed research publications and was the senior author of a book entitled Coherent Flow Structures at the Earth’s Surface. Erosion and sedimentation processes in river channels.

Nancy Jackson Professor and Chair of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences, New Jersey Institute of Technology Fellow in AAAS and GSA.  She held the Turin Chair as a Fulbright Fellow and serves as the associate editor of the Journal of Estuaries and Coasts and the Journal of Coastal Research.  Numerous refereed publications in a variety of international journals. Takashi Oguchi Professor of Natural Environmental Studies, University of Tokyo Co-Editor of Geomorphology and involvement with four other international journals.  Numerous publications and is widely recognized international journals. Rivers, hillslopes, alluvial fans, landslide hazards and geo-archeology in Japan, East Asia, Syria, UK, and Italy.
Netra Regmi Research scientist for the Oklahoma Geological Survey Completed 18 refereed publications and one edited book.  He has done research in Nepal and Colorado before joining the Survey in 2018. Soils and hydro-geomorphology
Ryan Ewing Associate Professor at Texas A&M University Ryan studies Earth and other Solar System bodies through the lens of wind-blown (eolian) systems.
Biogeomorphology  & Soils
Heather Viles Professor of Biogeomorphology and Conservation and Head of the School of Geography and Environment, University of Oxford Awarded the Ralph Alger Bagnold Medal by the European Geosciences Union for her role in establishing biogeomorphology.  She serves on numerous boards related to biodiversity.  She has co-authored nine books, including the latest on “Geomorphology in the Anthropocene” (2017).  Over 100 refereed publications have appeared in many international journals. Ellen Wohl Professor of Geology and Distinguished University Professor, Colorado State University A Fellow in the AGU and GSA and received the Ralph Alger Bagnold Medal from the European Geosciences Union in 2017.  Competitive research grants awarded total over three million dollars.  Refereed publications exceed 200 plus she has written 31 book chapters, 18 books and edited volumes. Ed Keller Professor of Environmental Sciences, University of California Santa Barbara He received the Don Easterbrook Distinguished Service award from the GSA and two awards from Purdue University for his contributions.  He has published over 100 articles in international journals.  His textbook on Environmental Geology is in its ninth edition.  His tectonic geomorphology book, Active Tectonics, is now in its second printing. Janet Hooke Professor and holds the John Rankin Chair in Geography at the University of Liverpool She is a Fellow in the British Society of Geomorphology and has received the Busk Medal from the Royal Geographical Society.  She has over 80 publications and advises on the environmental management of rivers, catchments, and coasts.
