You will need to enter Hale Science Building through the south (quad-side) entrance and go up the stairs to the second floor. We are grateful to the faculty, graduate students, and professionals from across the Front Range who volunteered their time to support students at RMBAA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Conference Registration<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All RMBAA members who are up-to-date on their membership dues for the 2025 calendar year are eligible to attend the Annual Meeting. Our membership dues also cover conference registration, so please <strong>visit our<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.msudenver.edu\/rmbaa\/about\/membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">membership page<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to pay your annual dues in order to attend the annual meeting.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Student Awards!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To further the RMBAA mission of supporting student research, we will be awarding a student prize! We will award one each to the\u00a0<strong>top graduate<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>top undergraduate student\u00a0<\/strong>abstracts at this year\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong>\u00a0To be eligible, the student must be currently enrolled, must be the first author on the abstract, and must present the research in person at the conference. If you meet these criteria, please indicate your interest in being considered for the award on the abstract submission form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criteria:<\/strong>\u00a0Abstracts will be judged based on the scientific value and quality of the submitted work. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements, a competitive abstract should:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Clearly describe the concept or problem being tested<br \/>\n\u2013 Demonstrate new findings or interpretations that improve our understanding<br \/>\n\u2013 Propose new directions based on the research findings<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Directions &amp; Parking<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/map\/#!m\/193879\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hale Science Building<\/a><\/strong><\/span> is located at <strong>1350 Pleasant St, Boulder, CO 80309<\/strong>, one block from the intersection of Broadway and University Ave.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RMBAA has secured a reduced rate of $5 for the day for parking in Lot 380<\/strong> on the CU Boulder campus (map at the following link). To secure this rate, please purchase your Event Parking Voucher using <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sites.msudenver.edu\/rmbaa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/482\/2025\/10\/10.04.25-Rocky-Mountain-Biological-Anthropology-Association-Annual-Conference-Lot-380-Voucher-Code-and-Map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">these instructions<\/a><\/strong>. The voucher can be purchased in advance for the day of RMBAA. Make sure to have your vehicle&#8217;s Plate #, State, Make, &amp; Body Type on hand to purchase the voucher.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a paid hourly campus parking lot (ParkMobile app) is available across Broadway, and street parking can be obtained nearby on 13th St. and cross streets, becoming free a few blocks west of campus. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/pts\/parking\/visitorshort-term-parking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CU Boulder parking information<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For public transit, bus stops #12574 and #17892 are in the vicinity if coming from N or S respectively. There are frequent buses direct from Union Station in Denver (FF1), which stop at Broadway and Euclid Ave., a few blocks to the south.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Food<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Diverse dining options are located in The Hill neighborhood across Broadway, and one block south on 13th St. from the meeting venue. Additional restaurants are located in the Downtown district, about a 15-20 min walk to the NW along Broadway.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Lodging Info<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/q8dS4aeyk713cLDB9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Moxy Boulder University Hotel<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/XJsPpQpuDTgShHwo8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Limelight Boulder Hotel<\/a><\/strong> are located across the street from our meeting venue (Hale Science Building).
