His research focuses on growth and development and microbiomes in human and primate evolution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Caley Orr<\/strong> is a paleoanthropologist who teaches human gross anatomy at CU Medical Campus with a research focus on hominin postcranial morphology and evolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Conference Registration<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All RMBAA members who are up-to-date on their membership dues for the 2023 calendar year are eligible to attend the Annual Meeting. Our membership dues also cover conference registration, so please <strong>visit our<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.msudenver.edu\/rmbaa\/about\/membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">membership page<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to pay your annual dues in order to attend the annual meeting.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>New This Year: STUDENT AWARDS!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To further the RMBAA mission of supporting student research, this year we will be awarding a student prize consisting of <strong>two nights lodging (Fri &amp; Sat nights) at the YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park for the 2023 RMBAA Meeting<\/strong>! We will award one each to the <strong>top graduate<\/strong> and <strong>top undergraduate student <\/strong>abstracts in the week following the abstract submission deadline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> To be eligible, the student must be currently enrolled, must be the first author on the abstract, and must present the research in person at the conference. If you meet these criteria, please indicate your interest in being considered for the award on the abstract submission form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criteria:<\/strong> Abstracts will be judged based on the scientific value and quality of the submitted work. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements, a competitive abstract should:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Clearly describe the concept or problem being tested<br \/>\n&#8211; Demonstrate new findings or interpretations that improve our understanding<br \/>\n&#8211; Propose new directions based on the research findings<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">2023 Student Award Winners<\/span>:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Graduate Student Prize:<\/strong> Reilly L. It is an extensive complex in a gorgeous location, complete with conference rooms and on-site lodging.
