I wanted to hide<\/p>\n
From myself<\/p>\n
From others<\/p>\n
From the world<\/p>\n
You gave me courage<\/p>\n
To peak through timid fingers<\/p>\n
Then more bravely<\/p>\n
Evaluate fully<\/p>\n
Bringing those parts of me<\/p>\n
Into the light<\/p>\n
Integrating those pieces<\/p>\n
Previously rejected<\/p>\n
The darkness is still there<\/p>\n
I visit<\/p>\n
Yet I chose to live in the light<\/p>\n
Where you aren\u2019t ready to go<\/p>\n
So I must say goodbye<\/p>\n
