Her passion for writing has led to her work being published across a few local publications. She hopes to continue her career in the journalistic field and focus on creative writing all the same. Outside of writing, Ari likes to collect oddities, watercolor paint, and bake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joanna Brewer<\/strong> is an English major at MSU Denver and a Tin House Workshop alum. Her work has been published in <em>New Feathers Anthology<\/em> and short-listed for the <em>Plaza Literary Prize<\/em>. She believes in ghosts and would love to discuss them with you at length. Seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Fiction and poetry editor <strong>Kristina Greenwalt<\/strong> is currently pursuing her Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in English with a minor in Anthropology at Metropolitan University of Denver. She\u2019s an advocate for always learning and hopes to be a lifelong learner. She\u2019s a fan of any sort of literature she can get her hands on and wants to be able to encourage others to find their own passion within reading and writing. She spends her days with her small dog, Oliver, reading whatever she&#8217;s recommended by the people she loves.<\/p>\n<p>Fiction editor <strong>Logan Hessek<\/strong> is a junior at Metro and is pursuing a bachelor&#8217;s degree in English. He enjoys writing of any kind for any class and does a lot of fiction writing of his own. Some of his favorite authors are Joe Hill, Drew Magary, and Tim Pratt. Logan makes a point of going to at least three Avalanche games every season and likes to play a much lower skill level of ice hockey himself occasionally. Logan likes to stay active by participating in many other sports like pickleball, wiffleball, and bowling.<\/p>\n<p>Poetry editor<strong> Ryan Juarez<\/strong> is pursuing a degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing, as well as studying to become an interpreter for Spanish and ASL. Ryan has a deep love of language and writing. She wants to help build bridges through translating that she can pass down to her two children. Ryan loves delving into a good book and wants to be a part of sharing niche stories in a variety languages with intentionality, accuracy, and appreciation. When she isn\u2019t writing or studying, Ryan enjoys journaling and a daily park visit with her kids.<\/p>\n<p>Creative Nonfiction editor <strong>Megan Price<\/strong> is pursuing an English degree with a concentration in creative writing at MSU Denver. She detests having to select a few choice words to describe herself in any context. When she isn\u2019t doing homework or avoiding categorization, she can usually be found observing life in Denver\u2019s streets and parks, hoarding library books to cry over, or rapidly oscillating between feeling overwhelming joy for the wonders of living and absolute dread at the burden of existing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madeline Terlep<\/strong> is a senior double majoring in journalism and English with a concentration in writing. Her creative writing centers around the emotions that drive human nature, as she firmly believes our driving emotions connect us all, and that connection holds the power to heal. In her journalistic writing, Madeline enjoys diving into investigative pieces and putting the puzzle together. In addition to <em>The MSU Roadrunner Review<\/em>, Madeline is the managing editor of the literary, art, and culture magazine <em>Metrosphere<\/em>. You can find Madeline\u2019s writing in <em>Pink Panther Magazin<\/em>e and <em>The Metropolitan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Fiction editor <strong>Michelle Tolen Reeves<\/strong> is a senior graduating in Fall 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. As an avid cosplayer and all-around geek along with her three kids and husband, she can be frequently found at various pop culture related conventions around Colorado, sometimes as the children\u2019s programming coordinator or as a panelist giving insights on several subjects, including Sherlock Holmes and Loki.
