Editorial Staff<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Godwin Amouzou<\/strong>\u00a0is a Communication Studies major with a Creative Writing minor. His love for writing stems from a childhood investment in spoken word, poetry, and fiction. Godwin believes that writing is a medium that helps humanity get closer to the truth. He always looks forward to experiencing art with community and getting glimpses into realities both familiar and foreign. When not writing, he enjoys rolling D20s, playing video games, and learning anything new.<\/p>\n

Linda Bettencourt Bagchee<\/strong> is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing at MSU Denver. She is a self-proclaimed bibliophile, cooking enthusiast, and plantswoman. She enjoys writing and spends way too much time with her cat, Fiona.<\/p>\n

Sarah Bourquin<\/strong> is pursuing an English degree with the intention to teach high school English. She loves to teach and has just as big of love for the English language and literature. After getting her degree and her own classroom, she wants to go into the field of special education with the intention of improving the teaching methods currently used in special education classrooms.<\/p>\n

David Bradley<\/strong> is an MSU senior graduating in the fall of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a concentration in writing. In addition to writing his own short fiction, David enjoys seeing old films in theaters and exploring the city of Denver.<\/p>\n

Chai Cavalli<\/strong> is a passionate writer whose writing takes an “East meets West” approach. Hoping to eventually publish a book, Chai passes the time with teaching others in the art of creative writing.<\/p>\n

Raina Clausen<\/strong> is a senior at Metro and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She enjoys writing horror, romance and using fiction to explore the politics of the world around us. Having grown up competing in Math Olympiads, she particularly enjoys examining the intersection of abstract thought used for both writing and more mathematical pursuits.<\/p>\n

Valen DeLeo<\/strong> is an English major with a Creative Writing concentration and a Sociology minor. She enjoys exploring how language shapes understanding, culture, and experience. When she\u2019s not studying or writing, she\u2019s tackling an ever-expanding to-be-read pile or chasing after her three children.<\/p>\n

Cheyenne Drevon<\/strong> is a senior at MSU Denver majoring in English concentrated in Creative Writing. She adores Anthony Doerr and Jane Austen, finds inspiration in everyday wonder, and is often reading or sharing fast food with her best friend while dreaming up new stories.<\/p>\n

Samantha Forsyth<\/strong> is pursuing an English degree with a creative writing concentration and a minor in dance. She enjoys horror, caring for her dog and two cats, and the absurd. Her work has previously been published in Metrosphere<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Zoe Hawthorne<\/strong> is planning to pursue an English degree with a special interest in literary analysis and criticism. Her nonfiction essays have won several awards, though she is passionate about all sorts of writing from nonfiction to poetry. Outside of English, she is passionate about classical music and recently performed at the Edinburgh International Festival as a cellist, as well as spending time with her rescue cats.<\/p>\n

Nicole Longcrier<\/b> is a Senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver, majoring in Communications and English. She has a passion for rhetoric and creative writing, which shines through in her work. Her writing often explores themes of religion, death, and politics. When she isn’t writing, Nicole enjoys archery and spending time with her wife and their two dogs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Shawnee Lowe<\/strong> is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Lifestyle Medicine with a minor in Creative Writing. When not studying or working, she writes poetry and essays. When avoiding writing, she works on her endless TBR. At this point, her only hope in ever reaching its end is that she is granted her lifelong wish: everlasting life as a vampire with little else to do with her infinite time. A reader can dream.<\/p>\n

Megan Price<\/strong> is a senior at MSU Denver studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is also a Violence Prevention Education Intern at the Phoenix Center at Auraria. When she’s not on campus, she can be found reading, participating in community-based activism and organizing, and spending time with her loved ones.<\/p>\n

Senior Editor<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Cortnie Duran<\/strong> is a first-generation student at MSU. She is an author, visual artist, and social worker pursuing degrees in anthropology and creative writing. She is a Denver native who spends much of her time on the island of Cozumel, Mexico. Her personal essays and poetry have been published in literary magazines and anthologies, and she is a Pushcart Prize nominee. It has been her honor to work alongside her talented peers and esteemed professors on this issue of MSU<\/em> <\/span>Roadrunner Review<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
