SIPs follow a standard format that includes the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Thirsty for Strong Instructional Practice?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section is typically a short paragraph describing a common challenge in higher education pedagogy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Take a SIP of this: (Title of Practice)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section provides a description of the practice. An emphasis is placed on giving readers concrete examples of ways they could implement this in their teaching. We try not to overwhelm readers by including every detail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
