Dear Choral Colleagues,

The 25th Annual Choral Celebration at MSU Denver will be held on on November 5 & 6, 2026.

Please note: Any health protocols that we decide to institute will be communicated on this page as well as via email to all registered directors.

This fall choral festival is held for traditional high school choral ensembles of any configuration (mixed, treble, basso, madrigal/chamber groups, etc.).  Choral ensembles of any size will have the opportunity to perform in the King Center Concert Hall on Thursday, Nov. 5, and on Friday, Nov. 6, smaller ensembles will perform in the Recital Hall while larger groups perform in the Concert Hall.  The emphasis of this festival is to educate, encourage, and motivate your choral ensemble to continue their musical growth throughout the school year. It is our hope that your singers will leave feeling inspired by their own musical potential!

The registration fee of $135 per choir will go directly to Choral Activities and Scholarships account, funding choral scholarships and experiences for MSU Denver students as well as supporting our student chapter of ACDA.  Your ensemble will experience the following:

  • A performance in the King Center Concert Hall or King Center Recital Hall.
  • A professional audio/video recording of your ensemble’s performance.
  • An on-stage clinic with MSU Denver choral faculty and/or guest clinicians immediately following each ensemble’s performance.
  • Observation of performances and clinics by other high school ensembles.
  • Performances by MSU Denver ensembles.

Registration for the 2026 festival will open on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2025 at 7:00 am, and the festival fills up very quickly! Please note:  only one group from each school will be allowed to register. If you would like to bring a second group, please leave a note to that effect in the “Anything else you want us to know?” box at the end of the registration process.

The 2025 Choral Celebration schedule is published as an example of how scheduling works – find it under the “Schedule” tab. For future reference, we cannot confirm specific time assignments before the publish date, although we will make every effort to accommodate all groups. Priority will be given in the order that registrations are received. Due to high demand and our desire to include as many schools as possible, only one group from each school may register. We will maintain a waiting list for second groups and accommodate as many as possible as space permits.
