To start off the day we headed over to Mc Nichols to speak with Mary Valdez, the Public Art Coordinator at Denver Arts & Venues. The Interns learned about how murals have become part of the Denver landscape. Mary shared the process DAV uses to work with artists. As we continued with our day downtown DCPA provided a backstage tour of the theaters, paint shops, costume design studios and the variety of things that go into making productions!
