The university provides dedicated offices and services that can significantly contribute to their success.
The Access Center
The Access Center partners with students who experience any type of disability (mental health, chronic health, physical, sensory, and neurological) or temporary impairment (concussion, broken wrist, pregnancy, etc.) to provide needed accommodations and support to ensure equal opportunity to demonstrate their academic abilities and receive equal access and inclusion to all the University’s programs, activities and services.

Office of Testing Services
The testing center offers a variety of other testing services in addition to placement exams, our exam services include:
- Test proctoring service for “mostly online” courses (click here to schedule for an online class exam appointment)
- Departmental Testing (CPCE, ISA, Senior Exit Exams, etc.)
- HESI Nursing Admissions Exams
- CLEP testing

Writing Center
The MSU Denver Writing Center can help students with any writing assignment, at any stage of the writing process. They also support writers across all writing levels and in any discipline. They can help with summary/response papers, journals, case studies, research projects, collaborative projects, digital projects, resumes, applications, presentations, and more!

Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) program at MSU Denver supports students enrolled in traditionally difficult courses by offering free, regularly scheduled group study sessions that are facilitated by SI Leaders (current students who have previously succeeded in the course). Note that not all courses have a supplemental instructor.

Student Success Coaching
Student Success Coaching at MSU Denver is a personalized and holistic approach to supporting students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being during their college experience. Student Success Coaches support students by helping them build skills they will use to successfully navigate university systems, policies, and procedures. Coaches empower students to define, design and direct their college experiences and lives to meet their academic, professional and life goals.
