Classroom to Career Hub

The Classroom to Career (C2) Hub is designed to help students identify and pursue what’s possible for their future. Together with faculty, Academic Advising, and campus support services, the C2 Hub can connect students to opportunities to gain hands-on experience in their field of study and help them achieve their career goals. The C2 Hub can also connect students to career counseling, internships, reenrollment support, graduate school, and community-based learning opportunities. Students can make an appointment or stop by the Career Lab during their first semester.

Scholarship Support

The C2Hub Scholarship Support team connects students to resources, fosters community, and develops leadership for college success, retention, and graduation. Students will meet with scholarship advisors who will connect them to fun leadership opportunities, career development, and connections to the MSU Denver community. For more information on scholarship opportunities to apply for, visit the Scholarship Support website.

Career Engagement

The C2 Hub provides career support to help students get a jump-start on their career goals. This support includes the Career Lab where students can work on career activities with support from their staff, or individual appointments with a career advisor where they can get help with their resume, job search, upcoming interviews, or talk about any career topic that is of interest to them. They also host a variety of career readiness programs that students can attend each semester. If students need more support, encourage them to sign up for the Career Peer Mentor program where they will be matched with a peer mentor who will help them connect with the career resources that are right for them. To learn more about Career Lab hours and any programs and services, call 303-615-1133, email [email protected], or visit the Career Support website.

Industry Partnerships

The Industry Partnerships Team (IPT) connects students to over 5000 local employers in a variety of industries to support student career exploration activities on campus and in the community. As a result, employers are eager to participate in career fairs, professional mentoring, and panel discussions to support the career development of talented MSU Denver students. Employers seek out internal Job Boards to post internships and jobs specifically to recruit MSU Denver students and alums. For more information on the types of jobs and internships available, visit their Employment Opportunities website.

First Generation Initiatives

The C2Hub serves as a resource for current First-Generation students as they navigate campus, alongside campus partners. They encourage and empower the Roadrunner community to embrace and celebrate the intersecting identities of First-Generation college students. Learn more about the work done by the First Scholars and explore first-generation resources by visiting their First-Generation website.
