Dr. Davidson

Dr. Janine Davidson, Ph.D., has been serving as the president of Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) since 2017. She is a nationally recognized thought leader in higher education, with expertise in areas such as public service, U.S. foreign policy, and national security.

As the president of Colorado’s third-largest public university, Dr. Davidson is a fierce advocate for MSU Denver’s 17,000 students. She champions the role of public universities in preserving the American dream and has been a staunch supporter of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and undocumented students. Additionally, she prioritizes the needs of underrepresented students, military veterans, and the broader student community.
