We’ve made it almost to fall break, and I know a lot of us are feeling the pressure of this time of the semester, including our students. MSU Denver has many supports for students, both in person and online. One of these supports is the CARE team. The CARE team can help support your students as they navigate this time of year, and the personal stressors they might be experiencing including housing insecurity, mental health, food insecurity, relationship stress, and more.
The CARE team is a wonderful group of folks that works together to connect students to support services related to mental health, housing and food insecurity, and more! Check out the CARE website for more details. Anyone can submit a CARE referral, so if you haven’t had a chance to learn about this amazing group, stop by today to learn how to submit a referral, when to submit a referral, and how this team can provide support for your students across modalities as they wrap up a busy semester.
Miguel and Taryn (CARE team staff) will be stopping by our online support drop in hours this week, so please join.
